What is Yrittäjän talousapu?
The Yrittäjän talousapu counselling service for entrepreneurs is a national service which provides assistance and counselling for small business owners and companies experiencing financial distress. The service consists of a national helpline and online service and supplementary regional services. Contacting us puts you in touch with our trained and experienced experts, and all of your discussions with them are absolutely confidential.
The Yrittäjän talousapu counselling service is coordinated by the TE Customer Service Centre under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland. The service is being developed as part of the EU-wide Early Warning Europe system.

The goals of the Yrittäjän talousapu counselling service
- to help entrepreneurs recognise financial and payment difficulties
- to direct entrepreneurs to seek help before it’s too late and avoid unnecessary bankruptcy and lost jobs
- to guide businesses that are having temporary financial issues back on track towards growth
- to provide instructions for ending an unprofitable business venture quickly and with as few additional expenses as possible
- to influence general attitudes towards bankruptcy and failure
- to strive to enable starting a new business.

Early Warning
Euroopan laajuinen Early Warning -toimintamalli rohkaisee yrittäjiä hakemaan apua ajoissa.
Toimintamalli on lähtöisin Tanskasta, jossa se on ollut käytössä vuodesta 2007. Palvelun keskeisenä tavoitteena on rohkaista yrittäjiä hakemaan apua ajoissa, parantaa yrittäjien jaksamista ja uuden alun mahdollisuuksia sekä vaikuttaa yleiseen asenneilmapiiriin epäonnistumisia koskien. Tarkoituksena on varmistaa, että talous- ja maksuvaikeuksiin joutuneille yrittäjille olisi tarjolla riippumatonta, luottamuksellista ja maksutonta apua ja tukea.Toimintamallin käyttöönottoa EU:n jäsenmaissa tukee Early Warning Europe Network -yhteistyöverkosto, jonka toimintaan Suomi liittyi vuonna 2019. Yrittäjän talousavun puhelinpalvelu on toiminut jo vuodesta 2009, ja Early Warning -toiminnan avulla palvelua on saatu kehitettyä ja laajennettua verkkoon ja alueellisiin palveluihin.
Taustalla on EU:ssa hyväksytty uudistettu maksukyvyttömyysdirektiivi ja direktiivi ennaltaehkäisevistä uudelleenjärjestelyistä ja veloista. Jälkimmäinen velvoittaa jäsenmaita ottamaan käyttöön yrittäjien maksukyvyttömyyttä ennaltaehkäiseviä toimia.
