The training is always tailored to the needs of the employer. The training can also be planned in co-operation with several employers.
In Recruitment training, the employer’s contribution is 30% of the total costs of the training.

Do your current personnel need new skills to respond to new circumstances?
Targeted training is intended for the company’s current personnel when the company’s operations or the technology used by it change and the changes require that the personnel’s expertise is improved. Targeted training is targeted specifically at SMEs, and it can also be implemented in fixed-term lay-off situations. The employer’s normal personnel training cannot be funded as Targeted training.
In Targeted training, the employer’s contribution is 30–50% of the total costs of the training, depending on the company’s size and turnover.

Does your employee need to improve their Finnish language skills?
With the help of the Workplace Finnish training, the company can promote the language skills related to the work and occupation of its current or recruited foreign-language personnel. In addition to studying Finnish related to a profession or a field, the training content focuses on communication situations related to occupational safety and customer service, among other situations encountered in work tasks. The Workplace Finnish training is suitable for companies of all sizes and the public sector. The training can be implemented as individual or group training, either in the form of Targeted training, Recruitment training or Change training. In Workplace Finnish, the employer’s contribution is 20–50% of the total costs of the training.

The joint purchase training described above (Recruiting and Targeted training) are vocational labour market training targeted at the company’s needs, which the company and the ELY Centre plan, acquire and fund together. The trainer is always independent of the buyers and the duration of the training must be at least 10 days/person.
