You will get an experienced management expert to help your company, or you will develop your business skills with top trainers at a reasonable cost. The Business development services consist of Analysis, Consulting and Training Services.
Enterprise development aid
Does your company need a boost for renewing its business model or for starting internationalisation? With the help of development aid, we can support your company's overall development and create better conditions for your business.
We grant development aid for SME development measures and investments when a company starts up, wants to invest significantly in its renewal or strives to grow. This aid is particularly focused on helping companies to internationalise.
Rural business funding
Direct business subsidies for rural areas offer opportunities for a wide range of companies from start-ups to expanders and from enterprises developing their operations to those reforming their operations. The establishment of enterprises and investments are supported in order to create more entrepreneurial activities and jobs in rural areas and, consequently, increase the vitality of such areas. The principal focus of subsidy allocation is on growing and developing companies and on the development of innovative and competitive products.
The Agricultural Fund for Rural Development may also grant funding for:
Investments by small enterprises with fewer than 50 employees operating in rural areas (investment aid)
investments by SME companies with fewer than 250 employees processing agricultural products (Annex 1) in raising the company’s productivity and improving its product quality, irrespective of the company’s location.
for agricultural enterprises (farms) when undertaking or engaging in business activities other than agriculture (investment aid)
for starting new business activities or renewing the business activities of a small business already in operation in rural areas (start-up support)
Business funding granted by the Agricultural Fund for Rural Development must mainly be allocated for enterprises operating in a rural area. The city centres of Vaasa and Kokkola are excluded from business funding granted by the Rural Development Programme.
